Donkey Kong in a dumpster. Olathe, KS
« on: October 15, 2005, 06:51:03 pm »
Behind the "Life Church" 159 and Lone Elm.

There is some damage to the left side from being literally tossed into the dumpster, but the glass and marquee looked ok.  The CP was detached, but the guy who told me it was there told me the CP was in there too.

I didn't have the help or vehicle to get it out of the dumpster to home, but maybe you do.

Al.

I have the board out of it.  I was planning (for about 10 months now?) to pick up this machine along with the pacman I got back in january.  Never got around to getting it.  I hope someone picked it up today before trash guy comes this week.

If anyone picks up the cab (or just the CP), I'd be interested in some of the hardware.  PM me if you do.

Thanks,
John

It's still there as of Monday noon-ish.  I removed all the decent parts, though, so all you'll find is a cabinet with the monitor.

Anyone know of a jakks all-in-one type game that includes donkey kong?  These parts would make for a great little project with one.

Also, I'll sell the DK board as-is if anyone wants it, or trade for some stuff.

Toss in Vantage with a few vertical games.

Hmm, I'd never heard of Vantage.  Looks like a good match, will the MAME roms work with it or do I have to find roms elsewhere?  I also don't see much information on it at mameworld.net, any better source?  Thanks for the info.

The sound samples are there too.  Just follow the "next" button at the bottom.  You can also search through the forums here.
