Not interested personally, but those who are would probably be more inclined to contact you if you post a few pics of your work. Good luck. :)

Oops! I failed to mention that I am centrally located in the United States in Springfield, Missouri.

Not interested personally, but those who are would probably be more inclined to contact you if you post a few pics of your work. Good luck. :)

I will be putting together a simple page of my projects soon.

You can't build cabinets here in Springfield! I was gonna do that :P ;D

There are quite a few of us BYOACers here in town. We need to get together and go to 1984 sometime, or crsdawg's house :)

I'm headed up that way first of Nov...  moving to Branson area from north Alabama....  If you're still in the cab business later on, I might be interested in something from you ;)
Branson, eh? I hope you like Mel Tillis ::)  I will still be in biz then, just let me know.

A bit more into PAM Tillis, actually ;)

I've lived in the area before and am going back now to be a bit closer to family.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread. I'll start a thread in the meetup board at some point in the near future. Unless someone else does it first. Now...

Someone buy some stuff here!

Thread is back on track. :)

i don't mean to throw this thread off course again, but i'm in for a spfld meet up. 1984 would be perfect. maybe dave is right and we should start a thread in the meet up forum.

mr. bubblehead- good luck to you in trying to build some cabs for resale. i've been doing that on a small scale(along with brokering real arcades) for a couple years now. i usually just convert existing cabs. it's tough to make any real money though, but as side gig it's not bad. just don't ever figure your $'s per hour, it will make you very sad, heh heh.

Sort of a curiousity thing here, but if I was looking for a fairly basic SF2 style cab that had Perfect 360's, competition buttons, no monitor and was able to switch between a PC and Dreamcast and MAYBE PS2, what does that run for?

You didn't think meeting at your house was a good idea? :P ;D

(sorry for the hijack/re-hijack. At least we keep bumping your thread ;))

No money = no cab.  That's how I roll.  I've received several emails requesting cabinets and components, but hey, money talks.  I'm not running a charity here.

I am currently building a cool original cabinet for one board member, SportsWizDan, and I will be posting some images in the project announcements soon.  Also I just received another deposit from another member for a cab based on the classic Pac Man/Galaga/etc. style design.

I really need to put together a page with photos of my own projects as well as those that I build for others, perhaps some pricing info too.

Nope.  I'm waiting on some art for some custom sticks and then having Mr B fabricate them.  ;)
