I used calc.exe.  I know the decimals of all alpha characters of the "american standard code for information interchange"  by heart.  It's a matter of using calc to convert the hex to decimal then for me :)  My many years of programming in BASIC using chr...

Heh.  I just remember key demical values and add from there mostly.  But I like that technique, less thinking involved.

Heh, I think it is safe to give away the code now.  Between saint's and my reply you should  have the tools to figure it out.  ...and AlanS17 spelling out the acronym :)
