I read a whole bunch of complaits about the same guy in another forum. He had a different name before, but I don't remember. Apparently his reputation caused him to change andit looks like he's still the same old jerk.

I've seen this guy do it. There were several games I was watching that JUST ended today, and he now has them up with nearly the same descritions and higher prices, and the SAME pictures/screenshots.

There is no way he has all these games in hand.

incase anyone doesn't know, there are numerous forums where "Arcadegod" is getting slated for being a scamm0r, here, the schmups forums, neo forums amongst others.

Chris, is this enough proof of what people have been saying about him ? I think you have been one of the lucky ones so far as has Pete/RGP but it would seem a leopard cannot change his spots afterall

I too have been burned by him. I have been waiting (4 weeks) for nearly $500 worth of stuff from him. Dave_K and many others have decent experiences with him. I've had at least 15 good experiences with him. On the other forums I do not defend him, make excuses for him, or anything of the sort. I have asked for a list of people that had been burned for a reason. From what I gather the guys biggest flaw is not setting expectations and that is closely followed by telling the buyer the truth. I am not bashing him yet, but thats not too far off if my stuff isnt recieved soon. I PM'ed Paul as you could see above telling him that he is not alone and that I have some info for contacting Casey and would be willing to try and help get the situation sorted.
In case there is still any doubt; I am glad this was posted here. It should likely also have similar threads at KLOV and the other related forums. People need to be cautious on eBay and definitely never buy anything site unseen. Demand pics or wait for the next opportunity.

I know you dont, and if I in any way came across that I was implying that you do than I apologise profusely, I have a good and long standing relationship with you and I wouldnt want you to think I am pointing any fingers or accusing you of anything. Your one of the few sellers I know are reputable (hence why Pete slightly amended the rules on s-n forum, after he recently changed them, I told him you sell lots of shizzle)

the sad thing with the whole Japhei scenario is I have no doubt in my mind that he allready has other accounts on eBay which he will get up a decent feedback rating and start all over again as he has done before.

someone seriously needs to take him down a notch or 2, why no-one has had a face to face visit with him after all the years hes been around is anybodys guess.

Wow look at what the difference a couple of days does. I think Paypal might have frozen his account. I had a previous issue with another seller and after I asked for refund on paypal he got really nice and considerate and apoligized for the problem. Goes to show you paypal works (this time)

Tell ya in a few days. My deal is still pending reciept of product which I just got my tracking # for after 4 weeks of complaining and hounding for proof that the stuff had been shipped.

I had the same experience with Paypal. As soon as I complained, I got my product. This isn't related to Arcadegod, however. FWIW

Sounds like he probably sold the items without ever receiving them, and then probably would give the first seller's his buyer's address. This way he profits with the higher price AND shipping fees he never actually spends.

that is what happened with the Puzzle fighter game. I actually asked him if he was a reseller and he said he was a wholeseller and had over 300 pcbs.

Just to chime in here, I had one transaction with Arcadegod/David Annis/Japhei (I think he has a string of other aliases). My transaction went through ok, but only after I called him on trying to backout of the deal after agreeing to my price, and also because he was just starting out on the shmups board and wanted some good feedback there. I guess I got on his bad side when I questioned his ethics (like most others did on shmups), and he blew up and then got banned. He had already been banned on neo-geo forums. You can go to either shmups or neo-geo to read all about him in the sticky threads.

If I were to guess, I'd believe its a small group of people who are acting under a single alias, as their operation sounds quite large. Either that or the guy has multiple personalities.

Goz, I hope you can still get your stuff from him.

In speaking with him in my endeavors to get my stuff (still not here) I'd lean towards the schizophrenia as being the most likely answer.

you have to check out this auction. I think you warned us about David Souza. So David sold ArcadeGod this game. So who is the chump on this deal? You know what goes around comes around. I am wondering when this item is going up on ebay sold by Arcadegod. I will try to track this item and see if it is going to be sold by the self proclaimed wholesaler....

I bought an Atomiswave motherboard from him and NeoGeoBattleColliseum. The game at least arrived nearly 2 months after I PayPaled him the money. Items were subject to be shipped together but the board was missing. NO answer to ANY email. I don
