I've been kicking myself back and forth about making a trip down there, but it's unlikely. So, I do have a unique request for anyone who does get down there.
In one of the pictures, I can make out several late 70s - early 80s Rock Ola jukeboxes. Right now, I'm working on restoring a Rock Ola 469 (1977), but I don't have the correct body artwork. See picture here:
http://jukebox-guide.com/Rock-Ola/Pictures/469.gifSee that large piece of artwork above the speaker grill on the base of the unit? I need that. I have the top/marquee art piece, only need the bottom (larger) piece. If anyone has a chance to check out the jukeboxes and happens to find a 469 (clearly marked on the top display), then please please please pull out that artwork (if it's there and in decent shape).
I only want the art from the 469 - I actually have art from the 463 model in there right now, so I don't need just any replacement. 469 only (which could be impossible - very few, relatively, were made).
If you're heading down there soon and think you could check this out for me, then PM me and we'll talk any details and payment. Thanks mucho.
