Wow,  it's listed as being in Perryville Missouri.  That's where I grew up and was just there yesterday.  It's about 75 miles south of St. Louis.

I've got a converted Centipede in my basement I've been planning on stripping the paint off of (I know that the sideart is still under the thick black paint).  It's got a horizontal monitor with a fighter game in it right now...I was planning on doing a partial restore and using it for trackball mame cab.

So far the bids don't seem too high.  I might have to put in a bid...my parents could pick it up for me.
so I said . . . . . WHATEVER!

Someone outbid me. Thank you! Heheheh. The problem was I thought the machine was in Toronto when I initially bid. I can't afford shipping from MO!

Yeah the bids are low. Probably because most Americans also think the machine is in Toronto. But just watch. I bet you this listing will suddenly be ended by the seller. They have the exact same machine in their Ebay store with a BIN of $800. There's no way they will let it go for only a couple hundred...

I DID fall for it ... RayB outbid me (but I had to retract on another machine as it wasn't in TO either) ... if you read the listing header, it said the item was in Toronto. If you were able to readtheruntogetherlistingdescription, then you found out that the machine was in MO.

Cheers.

Well at least that game has 2 25" monitors, right? I'd consider bidding just for that. I'd make sure the seller let me check it out in person before I take it, though.

It did have 2 25'' monitors, but where would I have put it? The cabinet would take up my entire game room!

You either turn it into a bar or stop behind Walmart on the way home.  :P

It'll be interesting ... I always watch jnk007's (aka The Kid) auctions since his warehouse is close to me and you can occasionally get a  good deal with his auctions (he does sometimes lose money over what he pays at SB). bidkow bought a Virtua Fighter from him for US$212 and now has a Virtua Fighter with a BIN of US$399 (and the exact same machine up in a regular auction as well).

I like the cabinet, so may bid on it last minute (since it apparently IS in Toronto) ... but, like RayB says, I'll bet it's gone by then.

Cheers

Yes, but if there are less than 1 day left, you can't pull an auction.

I thought it was 12 hours (had it happen recently ... Marvel vs SF cabinet was at $1.95 with 18 hours to go)

Cheers.

The Virtua Fighter -- was my least favourite of the three (Centipede, 1942 and VF), but is local and will make a good conversion project (have some decent boards, but nowhere to put them) if the price is right.

They also have some other interesting machines in Toronto - a Big Buck Hunter, Rush The Rock and 18 Wheeler, but the prices on those are starting to climb.

Cheers
