Where can I get a cheap Dreamcast for my cabinet?
« on: May 03, 2002, 09:31:09 am »
Can anyone tell me where those $39 Dreamcasts I've heard about can be found for sale? Amazon has them for $49, but $39 would be even better. Has anyone ordered one from Amazon? Was it in stock?

Thanks,
EA

I'm finding what look like great deals on EBay.

like system, 2 controllers, 2 guns 17 games for 60 bucks.

But you have to take that with a grain of salt... and I only want a few of the 17 games... usually interested in 3 of 10.

$39 used dreamcasts can be found at Software Etc. stores (I think they are now combined with FuncoLand and Gamestop stores).  The also sell them new for $49.  I bought a second one just for backup (when I got home I was surprised to find out it was one of those cool black sega sports models).

Note: Dreamcasts made after a certain date will not read CDRs (I forget its either Nov 2000 or 2001).  Not to say you even need to worry about that with $15 games.
