Space shuttle pinball sounds.
« on: June 29, 2005, 08:32:45 am »
Doing audio work for television shows for the past 10 years. I have noticed that the game play audio from space shuttle is used in nurmerious shows:

#1 the original teenage muntant ninja turtles used in krang's lair.

#2 a new cartoon show called Harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs.

#3 Last night heard it in a CSI show I was working on. It also had pac man sounds in the back ground.
Curls in the squat rack !?!?!

The sounds from the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man seem to pop up on TV suprisingly often as well.

Enough so that they piss me off! I've seen several scenes where people are playing a modern console like an N64 or even newer, yet the sound effects you hear are of 2600 pacman!
NO MORE!!
