I think the buy\sell board should be restricted

This is a great rule, I dont even know what the post count is that you need, but it should be increased.

There are ways around everything but instead of gaming the system, I thought I'd give an example of the impact of the recent change.  In my day job, I value the same kind of feedback from my users.
 
I'm a little confused why you thought this was a play for sympathy, but I'll bet you try to save money when you buy things, too.

If the person didn't answer your PM then posting in the thread wouldn't have helped. When I did my clearance sale friday I sold several items to someone with ZERO posts who simply PM'd me. It worked out fine and their items have already been shipped.
