that acutally looks pretty good.

Here's a list of what is/isn't included compared to other versions of the product.

I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

I am looking at the feature list.  For a home DIYer it should be plenty.  Use online MSDN instead of local for documentation

Is the whole thing free, or is it just a trial?

There Beta's.  They release BETA1 a while ago, and must of just released Beta2.  When its release in the fall I think the express versions are suppose to be $49.  Not bad for a home user.

I haven't downloaded and played with it yet, but going by the feature list it seems perfect for the casual or beginner user, even at $50.

While I don't get the sense that you'll have to upgrade to play with any of the advanced stuff, I think you'll want to upgrade to make your life easier.   That's going to be the tough part people are going to have to deal with... Their inner dialog debating whether it's worth the extra $300 to get XSLT support.

Yeah, for the home user how important is XSLT support, profiling, and local msdn...

I tried it out on my new athlon 64 3200.  Man, is it slow.  I hope the gold version is much faster!
