With the buttons, WR'S are possible.  Just make sure you are alternating buttons back and forth.  With my mame machine, I mapped the run buttons out to the joystick and bobble the joy back and forth and it makes for incredible WR'S.  We can run the dash in under 8 seconds.  Same game, different application.

Mebbe I'm just misunderestistanding you, but you spoke of the buttons first, then proceeded to tell us how you mapped the buttons to the joystick.

Are you referring to the joystick as your buttons, or what?  You Engrish goodly not me for.

Originally, T and F used pushbuttons for the "run" action.

GG, I'd find it hard to run shaking my joystick, but that's another story ;D

I got that he is using the joystick for the run buttons, but that there quote attributed to him is then either fingers too large and he mashed the wrong keys or forgot to mash the RIGHT keys.....or else he's as disonflusteraterest as most folks should be trying to figure out what he means ;)
