i actually got a 300-1 board that works great. it is basically a mame cpu with a scroll screen that works pretty good.  there are some games that do not work very well but not the ones i normally play. All i care about are the Cap com and neo geo games. the games are all horizontal ones. i heard there is a 100-1 vertical games and a 600 and 1000-1 boards in the works.. go figure... why not make google-1 board.

I have seen those, those a MUCH BETTER than the 9 in 1 and/or 39 in 1 boards. They are basically just computers.

MonitorGuru:
I'm amazed no one has mentioned the fact: THESE ARE ILLEGAL.

Don't send $600 to a PIRATE making money off of the original manufacturers and integrating MAME into a PC-hardware based board with different firmware to hide all the "mameness".

Yes, I too have read these boards are crap... bad sound, video issues, input "slowness", et. al.

fredster:
Yeah they are illegal.

I like the 9 in 1's though.

monkeybomb:
Why would someone get one instead of just using MAME?
