JODY:

Tested the volcano buttons I bought.

Paladin:

Tempest uses a cardboard bezel between the glass and the monitor to hide the wood sides.

Looked over the cab more.  Speaker is in the top.  Looks OK.  Don't know if it works.  The marquee light is also there.  Don't know if it functions.

There is no monitor bezel.  Bare wood, but not that noticeable due to the smoked plezi.  Anyone know if that is original or if there was an actual plastic bezel?  (Edit - Found KLOV has full manuals online with parts info.)

The hole in the wood is 15w x 19h.  Bigger than I thought it would be.  Will support larger than a 19" unless there is another bezel missing.

There was a black cardboard bezel that surrounded the monitor just underneath the glass, i took the one off your cabinet to put in the tempest cab that i was working on since it was missing one.

with that smoked glass on there, you never notice it anyway.

dan57fina:

where did you buy those atari cone buttons?

If any dedicated cab is a good choice for Mame then a vector cab is. Not enough monitors to go around. And believe me, those Vector cabinets don't strip themselves out, it is the classic collectors/dealers who are doing it.
