If not does anyone how to convert from WMA to MP3 so SKJ can play it as my MP3 software dont seem to want to know..

Yes, SKJB plays WMA files.  As for protected files, I'm not so sure!

All the copy protection schemes I know of can be bypassed by pressing shitf while putting the cd in the cd player.   Have you tried that?

I love the page turning sound but is there a way to keep the page turning sond on when not playing music but disable it when music is playing. This would also work well with the screensaver.
Thanks

eeeek.....there's an odd one!  I know a problem like this came up right at the very start of SKJB, after I'd changed to the control I'm using now.  Didn't realise it was a trial version, so after 30 days everyone's MP3's stopped playing!   :(

Anyway, I don't think this is related to your problem....or maybe it is...  I would assume if there was a DLL error, you'd get a crash when starting the program.

This is a long shot, but have you, by any chance, installed the demo version of this before :

This is the control I use to play the MP3 files, but if you have installed it before & never registered it, that may be where the problem is.

If you have, totally uninstall it then reinstall SKJB.

Sorry, but that's all I can think of!

Hi Salmon King!

I just wanted to report back on my earlier problem.  I never did get the files to play using the M-Audio Soundcards....so i finished building my other mamecab computer, loaded SKJ on it and everything works fine using the built in Audio of the motherboard.

I have one issue...it's more of a program feature though.  I use my mamecab for both "mame arcade" and "Jukebox".  I have setup the operating system (winxp) to  boot into a custom Welcome (logon) page that gives the user 2 options:

1. Play Mame Arcade (when selected, will load right into Mamewah frontend)
2. Play Jukebox (When selected will load right into SKJ)

Mamewah gives you the option on exit to Reboot, or run a program, etc.....I set it to simply run "C:\Windows\System32\Logoff.exe"  which works perfect as it brings the user back to the Welcome Screen where they can choose an option again.

In SKJukebox, it would be great to have this option too...as it is now, SKJ will only allow me to turn off the computer.  I don't know if it would be too difficult to implement a simple commanc line option on exit like mamewah?

I truley appreciate your efforts....you have built an incredible program.

Thanks,
Chris

SK,
I ran across a really odd problem the other day, your program has been working with no problems until i wanted to change the order of the playlist. I right clicked the playlist went to verbose que(not sure on spelling) and proceeded to move one of the songs up the list. This worked fine but then while playing the songs i kept getting an error screen saying error in one of the .dll files and asking to close down sk jukebox. After i cleared the play list and put some more songs back in even some of the same songs it played fine.
