Well, I didn't see an Asteroids cab (at ~12:30), but I did grab a Tempest cab.  No marquee or monitor, but the CP is complete and the sideart is C quality.

If anyone has an interest in the boards, let me know and we'll figure out a shipping cost deal.
MAME Projects % completed:
2004 3 sided cocktail cabinet w/ modular CP <25% (discarded)
2004 Tempest cabinet & CP > 75% (sold)
2017 Raspberry Pi Zero W w/ Lakka microconsole 50%
2021 Vertical Bartop - in progress > 80%, 100% functional (sleeping)

I have an empty Asteroids cabinet (previously converted to Wardner) that I'm willing to trade for something non-classic and equally empty.

If no one wants it, I'll be converting it to something really nasty after the new year.

I'm a high school teacher who teaches students how to rewire cabinets.  The Asteroids cabinet is slated to be a student project, but if you have a reasonable cabinet to trade, I'm willing to send Asteroids to a good home.

Let me know if you're interested.  I'm in Peterborough, about 1.5 Hours East of Toronto.

Blaine.

Communication Technology - it has a "electronics" component, which I felt could be satisfied by repairing video games.  They always say to bring your own interests and abilities into the classroom.  :-)

That's great. I'd think the "coolness factor" might keep the kids a little more interested. (but then again, what's cool to an old man like me might not be to these young whippersnappers!)
