Oh man I wish I had that kind of dough!  I'd open an arcade in an instant.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

i cant believe someone bought that for that price, it was totally overpriced IMO. none of those videogames are even worth 1k each. the redemption stuff probably 500-800 a piece. some cheaper. definately not worth it.

Watch this get relisted once the buyer finds their calculator and has a reality check.

Averages to $821 per game. And the buyer doesn't even know the condition of each game. Could all be flakey for all we know. Sheesh!

Don't you guys get that it's probably not a collector buying this crap? It's someone wanting to use them in their business and turn a profit. Remember, that is the real reasons that our machines exist. At one time they were used to bring in cash.

I had a buy it now price of $700 on my Tron cocktail and I ended up selling it for $900. It just shows that an interested party found the auction too late.

One of my biggest mistakes was not buying a perfectly mint Pengo that had a buy it now of $600. It ended up selling for over $1600 if I recall. Ouch.

By the way, any of you guys know where I can get a Q*bert cocktail overlay?

Peace

I can't speak for the others who posted in this thread, but I was aware this wasn't for collectors.... Which makes the price paid even more outrageous. It's not a wise investment at that cost unless each an every game is "shopped" before the new owner takes them. Usually people go for "bulk buys" to get a price break. Here, all those games could be bought for less than half the price by going to live auctions.

i was talking about buisness, for a collector it would be even worse. you could buy all those machines for like less than 16k probably if you went to auctions and bought individual on ebay.
