runtime error 62
zyxman:
Hi !
i have a few problems with mamewah, so i hope i get some
solutions here. First of all i have this runtime error problem.
I use the search funktion on this board but this isnt the
same problem as i have here. Everytime i want to generate
a rom list in the mamewah i got those error:
"Run time error "62"
Input past file"
Even when i remove those *.fav files..
This is different from the problem reported in the past thread,
where a user had this error when he exit mamewah.
I use mameversion 0.83 with mamewah0.97
So is there a solution for my problem.
thx a lot
and sorry for my bad english..

btw. apart from my problems mamewah is

i used a wrong term, here...---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- i have to
do some english lessons, hmpf

I recall one instance were someone had to delete the CFG files (as well as FAV files). Sorry, you'll need to re-configure, but I would suggest you delete the entire \files folder and start again...

Hi Minwah !
hmmm. i deinstalled everything and installed it to another
directory, just in case. But when i did a clean installation,
from the scratch, the same error occured again.

Does the error only occur when trying to generate a list? If so, what List Generation Method are you using?
On a possibly related note, what Decimal Symbol do you use in Austria? The reason I ask is MAMEWAH sometimes has a problem, if your decimal symbol is ',' (not '.'). I would suggest go into Control Panel > Regional Settings and switch it to '.' (if neccessary), just to make sure that isn't causing any problems.
zyxman:
sorry minwah for my late answer, but yesterday i got
too drunk to do any post :P
My Regional settings are allready setup to display
the "." and the region settings are english/usa.
So this is not the problem...
Any further suggestions,
thx Zyx
