Ms Pac Gal bootleg....is this a rarity at all

i have a working ms pac gal bootleg with no namco or midway logos on board. board is split into 2 boards and i didnt think i seen this in mame. it plays the same as ms pac man but has different names. just wonderted if anybody has seen this mamed...

It would be more likely to find this in Pacmame.  There were a ton of bootleg Mspacs made...

you might actually be able to change the names of the characters back to regular ones using the dip switches.  I've got a bootleg ms pac, and I'm -almost- positive that they used to be japanese names, and I found the schematic and switched them back to good old namco (bootleg) names.  
Back for nostalgia, based on nostalgia.

a good place to ask would be the http://www.mame.net general/serious forum. post some screenshot pics there of the parts that seem unique and they could tell you if it should be dumped or not.

i hope its another rare board that finds its way into mame.  :)

well i hope it is rare too cause i would love to help out the mame community as it has already done so much for me! :) i will get soem photoshots today and get them on the mame.net board.

There's so many pac and ms pac bootlegs that they usually don't accept submissions unless the gameplay is different somehow.  Different mazes or something unusual about it.
