See, if you build a MAME machine and you want it to look/act like an arcade machine (perhaps even coin operated ;D Perhaps have it set up in a Public Place for example) then no, you certainly would not want a Windows desktop flashing up.

I don't think Ultrastyle is being *meanly* sarcastic if that's what you're implying. If not I apologize - but he answers questions and problems concerning his FE on his message board super-quick and has been nothing but nice concerning critisms and ideas, so don't get the wrong impression. It's still an early version of Ultrastyle so if seeing the Windows screen or DOS boxes bother you, hold off on it for now (though I agree about not using it in a cab just yet but still good for Windows). He'll fix that soon, I'm sure.
And by the way, it's strongly advised that you NOT put a Mame machine in a public place (free or otherwise).
