linux groovymame, replacing the mame with 2003 mame for older working titles
Deathblow81:
Noob question.......
Is it possible to replace the version of MAME found on Linux groovymame with the 2003 version for games like EX2, avp etc?
Thanks in advance
Calamity:
If you mean GroovyMAME in Groovyarcade, the answer is no.
You could do it through Retroarch with their 2003 core probably.

Thanks Calamity!
I got Groovyarcade working, just had problems with J-pac, then changed from retroarch to groovymame (FB I think?), then nothing worked.
I've changed strategy to updating rebuilding roms with CLRMamepro.
I'm going to do a fresh install of the live cd (Groovyarcade) then try rebuilt/updated ROMs.
I will bloody get there!
Deathblow81:
Terrible question:
What version of Groovymame is being used? 0.257???
Deathblow81:
I figured it out.... :notworthy:
