| A 3D Printed, Candy Cab-inspired Wall Mounted cabinet: Ascend |

This is an idea that I've had bouncing around my head for quite a while. After making this little Capcom Mini Cute bartop, I've wanted to make a full sized cabinet. And I have been working on a little cyberpunk themed basement bar/home theater and it is currently without an arcade cabinet, despite having the perfect spot for one here: Here's where the design stands currently: I modeled it around a 23 inch 1440p monitor that I'm currently using. I have an Ender 5 Plus, so theoretically, as it stands now it could be printed in 10 parts. but this is currently just a shell, with no consideration given to how it would be mounted. I'm thinking I may end up making a wooden frame on the inside for stability. I'd expect this is going to be a huge design undertaking but it's not impossible. Once done it would be cool to be able to share the files I already designed the artwork for it, basically modified Astro City artwork. I'd like to make it hug the wall a bit more. as it currently would stick out from the wall about 22 inches. Any feedback appreciated! |

Okay, now that I photoshopped it into place I really really want to see this through. |
