What Monitor Chassis Goes With This Tube ?
Infa Red:
Hi guys -
I was given a free 19" Samsung A48KRD82X02 tube. No burn !
I do not know how to identify and find the Monitor Chassis, boards, etc.. that was suppose to go to this originally. Basically everything needed to make it work to original factory spec.
Googling I came across Kortec, but was unsure if that just worked, or if it was indeed original. Also what I found was for the 20" model, and I have 19" viewable, 20" total - so unsure how they gauged that and which one I should get.
Furthermore, this is set up to mount Horizontally, so I would like to find the optional vertical mounting brackets for this model too.
So thanks in advance for any referrals/input.

read the yoke, minimum you need is the impedence but really could do with inductance readings
bent pin on the neck but i imagine you have already seen that

Hi GrantSpain, thanks for chiming in. I did for sure see the bent pin(s), but that's a easy fix I can do. My main question is what is the name exact model number and brand of Neck board and Monitor Chassis that originally came with these tubes ? As I would like to purchase it to get it running back to factory spec.
And the other question is, where can I find it once we identify what brand/model it is. Also a vertical mounting bracket for it.
Thanks guys !

it does look it could have been a kortek but early kortek were high impedence yokes hence why i asked you to check

Oh, haha, that's what you meant. Ok. Sorry, I am new to this, don't really know how to "read" the yoke or get what info you need unless you can give detailed instructions on exactly what to do. I do have some tools DMM, etc.. and I am mechanically inclined somewhat. Also willing to buy the tools I need.
Ideally though, I was hoping we could just go by the model of the tube and yoke and pin number to determine what was originally in here. This way I do not bother you for so much info and help.
