Gee, and there I was feeding my PC into my basement projector and playing with my X-arcade stick and wireless controllers when I could of had this useless thing.

How dark does it need to be to play this?

I use a 720p LED projector outside and have to wait until sunset to use it.
indoors just need to close the curtains.
but it looks best at night.

Not sure, but someone said this:

 Arcade1Up does 2250 lumens

So that might give an idea about it.

2250 lumens is weak as hell. No way that would look good from a distance. Hell even close up that would look like crap, even in a super dark room. Jesus, just when you thought their junk couldn't get any worse. ---smurfing--- Arcade1Up is ruining classic gaming.
