IPAC Ultimate - stuck in XInput mode - please help
« on: January 31, 2021, 09:34:55 pm »
I'm in a bit of a pickle, here.

I was mode switching my IPAC Ultimate just fine until recently. Now, the IPAC won't keep any of the default or custom profiles loaded (buttons are grayed out each time WinIPAC boots up), and because of that, none of the mode switch options will work.

Steps I have tried.

1. XInput is recognized by windows, but no buttons are assigned.
2. I have triple checked that the buttons that I'm using as P1 start and P1 Switch1 are plugged into the appropriate spots on the board.
3. The shift box has been ticked on the P1Start button.
4. I have tried to mode switch with WinIPC on or off - no dice either way.
5. The backdoor reset on Andy's page won't work here (plug in usb while holding switch 1) likely because all switches are disabled for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated - thank you!
