Virtua Cop 3 CXBX-Reloaded graphical issue

using emulator CXBX-Reloaded, in Virtua Cop 3 i get a black screen when the 3 targets appear and i get black smoke/bubbles when the ninja appears and the issue remains after beating him.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Yes...its a known problem, the game has a lot of gfx problems. it still not emulated perectly.
