Searching help to use the arcade monitor of a virtua striker 2 cab
ame.masia:
Hello everybody, I'm writing from Italy, this is my first message here.
Excuse my English, maybe I don't know all needed words to describe and explain what i need, forgive me if this happens.
I have a Sega cab with a Samsung monitor and i want to connect it to an orange pi board with an hdmi to vga out and a gbs8100 vga to cga converter.
I can also use a raspberry pi instead if needed.
I know it's not the best quality setup for a good video output, but for now this is what i have...
My gbs8100 board should be able to output rgb-synch signal to the monitor and i successfully use it on another cab with this same setup. That screen is a 15khz one, while this seems to be a 25khz one.
On the screen main board there is a double connector high low, is that to output 15khz on this screen?
How should i connect my board to the screen?
If i connect using the 5 wiires you see in the photos that are output of the gbs8100 i have black screen with some moving lines on screen as you can see on one of the photos.
In the attachments:
The screen model number
The high low connector
An unknown connector
The cab has no board inside
The input "connector"

Every little help or information would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks!

My first thought would be a signal issue, And would double down on making sure that chassis works at all by plugging a good board to it as a jumping off point, That high/ Low would be yoke induction I am guessing and taking a reading of the horizontal winding would be a good double check to be plugged into the high side.

sanwa pm1745, change resolution jumper from high to low so the chassis is then set to 15khz
