Test A New Nintendo Vs. Style Game
« on: October 12, 2020, 08:12:19 pm »
It will come as no surprise to many people here I'm continuing to make Tobikomi style clones of Nintendo arcade games, mostly for my own amusement. This time, it's a rendition of Vs. Wrecking Crew - except Fix It Felix Sr. and Jr. are trying to construct a building instead of tear one down.

The fun of this one was creating it to show 1 or 2 screens, across multiple monitors if wanted. That way it could play on a real Nintendo Red Tent or Nintendo Vs. DualSystem - hypothetically of course!

The main screens, waiting for coins

The enemies you'll come across

Single Player Single Screen Gameplay

Two Player Dual Screen Gameplay

Wanna give it a test? It's close to complete so I wouldn't mind some feedback. Download here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1U81YG9QqG2lN9CzjhNXqk60yHeGnZrJx?usp=sharing

Note: You must manually enter your monitor's screen resolution into the settings and doesn't support dual monitors if using vertical orientation.

You've built a mini Vs system? That's awesome! I'd love to see photos if you've got them somewhere.

Looks pretty awesome man.  I'll check it out.

Thanks Howard, hope you enjoy it!

Do you have a video of game play?

There should be two YouTube videos in my original post, are they not appearing for you?
