On or Off?
« on: September 21, 2020, 04:36:46 pm »
Hey everyone,

I'm Chutiya and i just joined this forum few days ago.

I have an arcade1up that has a new HDMI\VGA controller board that's connected to my desktop. I also bought some cheap arcade joysticks and led buttons (EG STARTS)

So here's my question: Can i leave my arcade on with led lit up all the time? If anyone has led buttons, how long do they last? Or how long have you had them?

Cheers everyone.

Pretty sure LEDs last a very very long time and don't give off much heat.  They are cheap to replace if something goes wrong too so I'd just do what you want.

I appreciate your reply. I was reading that sometimes they become dimmed when they're on for too long, but like you said, "they are cheap to replace"

Thank you.
