  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I have this issue where I am trying several days to find a solution. I have connect a Logitech usb wheel and it work great with M2 emulator. However the pedals are not working properly. When I am in Daytona USA, in the start where you are about to choose the race course and then auto or manual gears the gas pedal works just fine. But when the game starts the gas pedal works as brake and the brake pedal works as gas.

Please check the Logitech settings below and tell me if there is something wrong in the setup.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Vicinus

You can assign your pedals as you want. brake to gas and gas to brake. And you can invert the axis.  Did you try that?

I would try to recalibrate (It's actually more a reassignment) the pedals. (double-click the analog devices in the control menu).
Otherwise combined pedals should be left unticked, so that's ok.

Not sure this would help, but it's worth a try....
I run a Logitech Momo Wheel on Model 2 and with Daytona, sometimes the pedals don't work right until I go into "Game Controllers" in "Control Panel"... Calibrate ALL the controls there first....THEN start Model 2 emu and calibrate again (..and do what Vicinus said)...also, tick the "Raw Data" box when you double click each control, lets you see what's really going on....then everything is spot on. Hope you have some luck with this, let us know.
Cheers

Hi,
I had the same problem (I have a Logitech G29 wheel):

Here are some notes I made to resolve it:

1. Open Logitech gaming software
2. Create a profile pointing to model 2 exe which has pedals accel/brake as combined
3. Run game
4. For controls:

steering analog joy1, wheel axis
accel:   analog joy1, accelerator inverted - min 0, val 32760, max 65280)
brake:   analog joy1, accelerator  - min 32512, max 65280)

works for both daytona and sega championship.
menu left right - steering wheel
menu select - press brake for daytonas, press accel for sega rally champ

Hope this helps
