I wish they used better sprites, but I get that they're trying to make it look like the newer versions of "new" super marios (Wii/WiiU/Switch).

Howard_Casto:
I watched a playthrough and the game looks much better in motion.  Personally I think it would have looked better with the Mario All Stars sprites, but we can't have everything I guess.  Seems like a solid hack other than the Mario "yippies"  with every single frikkin jump.  You've got to wonder why they didn't just hack the wii/wii u Mario games if they wanted that aesthetic though.

pbj:
Looks  pretty damn good on my CRT. Definitely needs some tweaking but it's close. Fireballs bounce once and then fly off the screen. Mario's constant yipping wears thin quick. Had to flash it twice to get it to work. One game crashed on me immediately, a reset got me to level 3 or 4 without problems.

Titchgamer:
Yeah looks ok on my CRT to.

The fireball thing is a little stupid and they look more like rocks lol

Also it seems to have some collision issues?

Plays ok though, be fun to try 4 player.

bigster:
Looks good.  I'll give it a play through.  If my memory serves me correct, the original only took me 20-30 minutes to finish.

What's up with the added wall jump?  I dont remember that in the gameboy version.
