Awww come on! We’ve got this far together .... :) the HDD is timing out on boot up intermittently , let’s get her backed up and an upto date CF card installed.
I would also like to thank everyone here that has contributed and given help and advice . From a machine that looked in a bad way when arriving with me it now looks like the machines I had on the bar all those years ago.

I think what he meant to say is that the last XL software was Titanium 2, but what you may get out of the update may be minimal. If you ended up getting discs to do the update, make sure you have a clean backup of your hard drive first in case you need to roll back.
