javeryh's Small-ish Bartop ["Jack Attack!"]
javeryh:
OK - I got it printed on some regular paper, cut out the shapes and taped it all together to get full sized art. You guys were right all along. The border on the side art has to go. It doesn't line up perfectly (my fault I guess because my initial dimensions were just measured from my pattern by hand). So now I need to figure out how to remove that layer in the PSD files (and any shadows that may have been added?) and oh yeah I need to get Photoshop and also figure out how to use it. Ugh.
The good news though is that the art looks fantastic printed out and taped to the cabinet (ignoring the off center border). I can't wait to finish this thing up.!
Arroyo:
Assuming the artist didn’t merge the layers it takes two seconds in Photoshop. If I were at home I would take care of it for you.
Really like the way this is turning out. Can’t wait to see the final product.
Malenko:
yeah I can take out the layer if you want. in photoshop you can either hide it, or delete it.
javeryh:
Wow that would actually be awesome - the PSD files are HERE.
The white border would have to be removed from BOTH side art files (the original and the mirror). Also, if it is easy enough, in addition to the revised PSD files, can you make a PDF file out of both of them that I can print at home for testing? Just want to be 100% sure of everything before sending it off to the real printer. If one of you could do this for me it would be a huge help!
Malenko:
if he hasnt already done it by the time I get home, I'll take care of it
