Modelines/D9800

Hello.  After years of struggle with an ArcadeVGA 3000, I switched to GroovyMAME and CRT Emudriver,  Using 0.193 and [CRT Emudriver 2.0][CRT Tools 2.0][beta 12].  I have a D9800 and HD 6700 card.  The results were excellent!  I had a question, however.  When I ran VMMaker, it generated 30 modelines.  Is that an expected number?  I ask because when I run many games QuickRes shows minor differences between the MAME resolution and what it uses.  So, in some cases, there is minor clipping of vertical or horizontal images.

My machine is off site, or I would attach a report, but thought I'd check my setup was okay first.
