The happy hours at brewpubs around here have been getting cheaper because of the competition. The oldest brewpub has some of their staple beers for $1.75/pint 4-7pm on weekdays. Two or three of them have moved onto making liquor, but it all sucks because none of it is aged. Give me Belgian anything, including Blue Moon. |

Fat Tire was good but they got cheap or changed ingredients or something. And, yes, craft beer is a total fad. How many martini and cigar bars you seeing nowadays? That ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- was everywhere 10-12 years ago. Enjoy it while it lasts, all it's going to take is chubby girls cutting carbs out of our diets again to kill it. |
