I wonder...would a 10" windows tablet work? You can pick up a off-lease windows tablet with an atom CPU and 2 gb of ram for ~$60. IDK if there is dart scoring software for windows but the bigger screen might work better and be more visible. Another idea would be to output whatever tablet you choose to a TV mounted on the wall kinda like bowling. Are all your players going to be able to see a 7 inch tablet from the throw line? You are getting a 150 dollar tablet for 70 bucks. What did you expect? The xbox doesn't have ads, unless you mean the single 2 inch square in the far left, which is actually useful as it advertises the upcoming promotions and discounts. I've gotten 5 or 6 free months of xbl what way.
