| Need Bulletproof Tablets - Suggestions? |

I need 3 to 5 inexpensive tablets that will need to run one app only (league software). League players will be handling them on a regular basis and I need something that will hold up. I hate tablets, so I'm clueless. Suggestions? Android please. |

any real ruggedized/work site tablet solutions I've looked into are starting in the $800 range. Some of the more expensive ones in the $4000 range but that was like ultra rugged "run it over with a forklift" kinda rugged. The galaxy tab "active" is a little better ruggedized version of the Galaxy tab everyone knows and loves. They are about as cheap as rugged goes. Mind you they are a bit tech illiterate and need something to hold their hand, but for your application that sort of thing isn't going to matter anyway. For a name brand, low cost tablet, the fire tablets are the cheapest with the most horsepower for your money. You can get them even cheaper without the bumpers btw.... I think they are at the low cost point to where you aren't going to freak out if someone kills one. I believe you can buy extended warranties on them as well. |
