So im not a huge fan of micro switch anything except where it was originally used like my Q*bert which is an odd factory cherry switch so i decided that i would order the grovey game gear Dominux8 white ball top 8 way short smooth circular Neat joysticks... there kinda like wicos which i love, and i order short cause its going in a metal panel, and its a cocktail. But i hit a snag... when i did a quick mock up when they arrived it was real obvious they were still to tall... |

I did have a namco reunion style joy handy so i tryed it in place... Much much better... Well, if you remember me saying I'm not really a micro switch kinda guy, and i had already purchased the Dominux 8s it was eating away at me that i wasted the money on them only to not use them.... So one Sunday morning as i was contemplating my day, i had an idea.... I decided that I couldn't space the joystick down, it's already out of room and the panel... infact the operator before me did me a favor and cut out the bottom of the panel, so the purists in me didnt freak out about making more adjustments. And its a conversion right, im doing it a favor... but heres how it is now, lol... |
