Power was out all day today. AGAIN. I think that's 3 or 4 times this year. I'm going to have to install a transfer switch or something as I'm too old/fat/ect to keep running cords all over the place just for the power to come back on when I finally get everything setup right. |

My F250 decided not to start after we arrived to watch fireworks last night. Totally embarrassed because I also drove another family. Truck cranks but won't start. Checked all the fuses, connections under the hood. no luck. Cracked a cold one and tried to enjoy the show. Then begged for rides, LOL. it's still up there...gotta try recovery after work today. Why did I want a diesel again? (still worth it) |

Is it throwing any codes at all? Seems like anything which would prevent starting would be showing something on the dash. Glow plugs? Glow plug controller? Fuel filter? Hope you can get it running to get it home. Mine is 4 tons dry, so anything other than an equipment hauler is a non-starter for trailering it. |

My dad borrowed my truck yesterday so I took his car. I got two miles down the road and the oil filter came completely off. I pulled over immediately. I called a buddy and he went to the auto parts store and picked up oil and a filter. Then he stopped at my house and picked up my floor jack and jack stands. The road looks like I was playing live action Spy Hunter. It was annoying, but I was only sidelined for a half hour. It turns out my dad just got an oil change last week. He is paying them a visit today. |
