Got this CPU for free did some updates and had to restart it to apply changes and now I'm here

Any idea how to recover access  to pc?  TIA

Did you try "password" ?

Lol  I was using on screen kboard need to go town to pick my KBoard  and it's Sunday  my truck is taking the day of today :D . Thanks again first thing I'm trying tomorrow "password"

It's worked for me before. Hell that's the password my used surface pro came with

Could also try ophcrack live cd -- it is a decent password cracking utility that does a pretty good job of fiinding the password

I've used this with XP and Win7 a few times with great results.
Just do what it suggests and blank the password.
