We shoot footage for a laminate installation video. but i'm not sure sure how we're going to edit it yet. :( --- End quote --- Been watching other videos, interested to see if you guys uncovered any little tips or tricks that were out of the ordinary. It seems pretty straightforward, trim laminate to 2" overhang, contact cement on both pieces, use dowels for placement, j-roller it, route it. One of my 3 is a DK and I'm currently debating whether I need to remove the finish before laminating over it. I'm using the Nevamar laminate suggested in the Sky Skipper project and it looks like they just went right over the top with some light fill and sanding. I'm hoping with the thin vert grad laminate the width for the t-molding isn't an issue. |

I have a restore where I am doing that. I am nervous to ruin the laminate I put on. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |
