How complex were those manuals going to be? Jump, Attack. --- End quote --- Basically... Here is a link to the one you were looking for. http://www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.126 --- End quote --- Nintendo Power spanned all the Nintendo systems over the years. So when I mentioned manuals I didn't mean just the NES. That being said some manuals helped with weirdness in games, like Star Tropics secret letter, ect..... --- End quote --- I had to call the Nintendo 900 number back in the day because I'd rented StarTropics and had no clue what to do when asked for that code. The guy tried to keep me on the line as long as possible and I was getting pissed (I was 13 and my mom was already going to kill me for calling). He wouldn't just tell me the code, he was like, "Think of a big airplane..." and I said, "I don't care, just tell me the code!" |

I wish I still had all my old nintendo power magazines, though I do remember cutting all the pictures out as a kid. --- End quote --- I did a social studies fair project on Nintendo in first grade (yeah I was hooked that early) and cut up most of the older issues to paste on the project board. I still have my mags though and once I get things straightened out they are coming in the house with me. If nothing else, the ruined issues might make good wall hangers with the posters and stuff. Their company was so small back then (on the US branch anyway) that when we called NOA for more info, they sent me this huge press kit. I think Howard Phillips even wrote me a little note on some of the papers. Of course I was a stupid little kid and didn't realize how valuable that stuff would become, so I probably threw it all out. |

Btw... it'd be a bit of a chore, but someone needs to go through the Indexes of all these issues so we can make a dat of which games are featured in which issues. |
