I have 3 sleep number beds. 2 of the mid-high end with their builtin topper and one of the lower end with our own feather topper. Love them all, although I only sleep on 2 of the 3 regularly. Well worth the money, especially for the times I've tweaked my lower back as you can adjust the bed to just the right firmness to give just the right support, in addition you can have each side have different firmness, my gf likes her side a little firmer, although I'm not sure the full size have the 2 sides as it would be too small. My oldest is 18 years old and the newer ones have much better and quieter pumps and controls. |

Loosely related. Freakonomics radio had an episode about mattress stores recently: http://freakonomics.com/podcast/mattress-store-bubble/ The long and short of it is that there is a huge markup on mattresses and prices fluctuate wildly from store to store. Every brand builds cheap models and expensive models, so you can't really go by the name on it. Can't be too much markup on whatever $120-160 one I end up buying for the guest room. :lol |
