This, however only tried out the popular N64 games, i.e. Mario64, Mario Kart, Starfox...etc.

I had issues with the built-in Bluetooth, it was causing lockups (yes, I use a 2.5A power source), as soon as I disabled the on-board and used an old USB BT dongle to pair my PS3 Sixaxis with, the lockups stopped.  It looks like a driver issue, so it will most likely be sorted out soon.

N64 isn't perfect and it does slow down on Crusin' USA, but I am using the stock settings, so it might just be that; a lot of the games I tried seem to be at 99% most of the time.

how does the pi 3 perform on games like mortal kombat 2-umk? particularly i ask because im working on a project. What "Doors" have opened with this new version of the pi? atleast regarding mame games
