14 days to go and with under $400k left, I'm starting to worry that the influx of donations has tapered off. |

It would be better if they made a new arcade game, then try to make a movie. Like most have said - this ship sailed and sunk years ago. Is this because of Pixels or Wreck it Ralph? Why now? I was watching an old documentary about an animated movie created in the 70s that was 80% complete, stored in a film vault and has yet to see the light of day. I'm sure there are 100s of animated films waiting to be made, but not on a video game that had so many releases, on so many platforms. |

My response to the movie will likely be like my response to the game. "Hey, what are all those people watching?" "Wow that looks awesome" Then it's my turn "Hey, this sucks!!" |

C'mon, I'm a huge Dragon's Lair fan and I love Don Bluth, but is this kickstarter saying that they need half a million bucks to begin making an animated movie? How can Don Bluth Inc. not have the cash on hand to make a movie he owns the exclusive rights to? Not to mention the revenue from all the other Bluth projects and movies. His net worth is over 2 million alone. It would be awesome if they would make a movie, but backers are kind of paying twice in the long run. |

He doesn't want to lose his own money. |
