That looks legit, but if you wanted portability why didn't you go with propane? (don't get me wrong, I prefer electric smokers) |

Thanks! A couple things. Half the reason I wanted it on a cart was to simply get it further off the ground. Made more sense to do a cart, especially since I had an old grill rotting next to my house and begging for me to use it's base. I also just went with electric because I am too new to smoking to trust my instincts with propane. Electric seems more foolproof. I bought one of those 12 hour pellet maze trays, so I don't even need to bother filling the wood chip loader for long smokes. So far, I am pretty happy with my results. |
