WTT: Nintendo Red Tent - Northern Arizona
« on: September 19, 2015, 04:07:31 pm »
Hello everyone! I was lucky enough to pick up one of these gems about 6 months ago, but I truly dont use it and my family and I are more mamers than arcadiacs and I would prefer to find this cabinet a good home where someone will take the time to restore it. One side plays Golf, the other plays Super Mario Bros. Both screens do have burn in, the cabinet usually needs to be switched on twice for it to work, and on start up Super Mario Bros at times will start up about an inch low on the screen, but gradually moves into proper position. Cabinet was spray painted and not that well by previous owner, could use button replacements, but both games play just fine. Mario side Coin door and access door are missing.  No Coin mechs and it looks like one of the coin mech brackets was twisted but should be an easy fix. Wired some happ buttons in the meantime for coin input. If there isn't a taker I may restore it, or may make a unique Fit it Felix Jr.sit down cab. (Blasphamy, I know)  I also have a Galaga stnd up machine I may want to part with depending on offers I may get.

What I'm looking for: A nice mame cabinet, nothing super fancy, but maybe something someone is ready to move on from. A Visual Pinball machine, again, not expecting anything overly nice. A mame pedistal. Or I am willing to hear all offers. Would prefer to trade at this time.

I only have a small subaru, so you would likely need to make the trip to me. I've seen some of you guys drive a long way for a red tent, so we shall see! Thanks for your time!

Hey, celebskinz, there's a board for AZ locals at forums.arcaderestoration.com. You might have good luck posting this and that Galaga there.

Good luck with your sale!

I've been looking for a red tent for some time. If you were near Denver, I'd be making an offer for sure.
If you can read this, it means Photobucket's money grab ruined my signature photos.

Bummer, I mean Denver is only 700 miles from me! Not in a huge rush to trade, but I know there is someone out there who will better appreciate it than I will.
