Welp since 10's requirement is 1 GHZ for processing speed and  2  GB of ram I think I'll pass.  I have a NUC 3 and just running the OS would eat up all my processor speed.  Leaving me nothing  for my games.

Trust me on this: Windows 10 will run way smoother than XP on that hardware!

Seems only some NUC boards support XP - here's a list of supported Oses for the different boards. (it also has the driver downloads for the ones that do support it that you might try.)

Do you happen to have a win7 iso ??  (figure all isos can be adjusted to install any version of 7 by loading on a usb thumbdrive and removing the eicfg file from the iso ) -  I have at least one old key that is not in use for Home Premium from an old Acer system that should be unused for long enough to be able to reactivate by phone if you want to try it. ( and it should also allow for the upgrade to win10 if you want to go that route) Let me know if you want to give it a try and I'll PM you the key.

This link is exactly where I looked to see what would be supported.  10 is not.  If push comes to shove I may run out and get a copy of 7.
Howard_Casto:
It might be supported anyway.  Remember 10 hasn't been officially released yet.
