Rippping on your art,  making fun of your project code names, and laughing at your complexion.  ;D

People take things too seriously. And if you ever think I am, then you clearly don't get my brand of humour or sarcasm.

The new project bashing, mod slanging, site trolling gets to be too much for even those of us who really could give a ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.  Someone wants to angle their joysticks? Let them. You have a problem with a mod? put it in the right forum or tell saint and let him deal with it. You don't like me, or something i said? Realize I really don't care.

After that let the rest of us use this site for what it was meant for, sharing ideas and projects related to building and restoring arcade machines. THATS IT.

I agree with this guy 100%.

I don't. He's so full of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- he cries brown tears.

I will say this... I appreciate people who give honest feedback and who can take honest feedback. I hate, more than anything, people blowing sunshine up someone's ass. Honest, true feedback can be critical and maybe even harsh if the situation calls for it, but it it's given with good intentions, then hopefully it will help improve upon people ideas and projects. Simply giving out gold stars for ANY ideas just because you don't want to hurt their feelings just lowers the bar for the group as a whole. I don't think having a reasonable expectation of quality is a negative thing.

Sure, constructive feedback is just that.  Trolling and bitching is also what it is and I still prefer Chance's brown tears to that any day.

A) I hope you saw the laughing dog indicating that was a joke.

B) Trolling and bitching are one thing, but "Someone wants to angle their joysticks? Let them." No. That's generally accepted as not a good design decision. So I should just not say anything because.... it's not nice? It's harshing the builder's vibe? That's the kind of thing I don't agree with. If we're providing feedback on projects, that's good feedback. If the builder chooses not to follow it, so be it, but why sit on that kind of advice? That I think is counterproductive to what I think we as builders and enthusiasts want to do here.
