Malenko wasn't the only reason I left, but I would be lying to you all if I didn't admit that he was the straw that broke the camel's back.  At the time the doctors weren't sure exactly what was wrong with me, but they did know that stress was a big part of it and my blood pressure was out of control.  I was told to remove any and all sources of stress from my life and honestly, with the amount of hobby projects I had going at the time and Malenko poking the stick I just had to leave BUT I would have had to have left anyway.... I wasn't at all well and for a while there I had a hard time putting my thoughts to text properly.  It never once went into my mind that Malenko was the reason, I just needed to leave period.

There are personal things that were going on in my life at the time besides the medical issues and that was more of the cause of my bad mood and departure than anything else.  I'm still dealing with them, but because I'm in a better place medically I'm also in a better place emotionally.

Pbj is right, sometimes Malenko does tend to aggravate things BUT, I find it ironic that pbj is the one pointing that out... depending upon his mood he can be far worse.  In both cases it usually isn't malicious though.  Malenko and I are good, we get along fine.  Pbj and I are good and we usually get along pretty good as well.  If PL1 said that I don't think it's necessarily appropriate, but it sounds like he was upset over me leaving and was just defending me and that sounds like good intentions so nobody should be sore over it.  Saint's been really good to all of us as well.  Remember, at the end of the day it's his site, so if he feels the need to moderate something it's his prerogative.

X2 is a special case, and let's just leave it at that.  Even ignoring that, I've managed to get along with him pretty well most of the time so it is possible.

I was asked to chime in on this and now I have.  For the record I like all parties involved and it would make me happy if everyone could just get along... I don't think any of you deserve the grief that you are laying on each other.  Most of us have interacted with each other for a decade or longer so our relationship is like a bizarre old married couple at this point.  Fight if you need to, but please make up soon.

The most brilliant part about this internet thing is: If i don't like whats being said, i can simply click the little red button in the top corner of the window and walk away.

People take things too seriously. And if you ever think I am, then you clearly don't get my brand of humour or sarcasm.

The new project bashing, mod slanging, site trolling gets to be too much for even those of us who really could give a ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.  Someone wants to angle their joysticks? Let them. You have a problem with a mod? put it in the right forum or tell saint and let him deal with it. You don't like me, or something i said? Realize I really don't care.

After that let the rest of us use this site for what it was meant for, sharing ideas and projects related to building and restoring arcade machines. THATS IT.
