AC died , Sobieski (company that installed it 3 years ago) said it was out of warranty and it'd be $99 just to come look at it. Little bit of google, little bit of asking my dad and my cousin and BAM! FIXED! The compressor would turn on but the fan wouldnt. The coils would overheat and the AC would trip the thermal protection, end result 86 degrees inside. Turns out this giant rusted capacitor was bad: $12.09 later: Cool air and I saved at least $87 |
